The office sits in the middle of the district with fifty four workstations on the floor. Stand at any free chair, press E, and the camera sits down where you are. The screen boots and asks who you are.
Your login and password are yours to invent, right there on the monitor. The password never leaves the machine: only a salted hash of it is kept, so the account is yours and nobody else can read it back.
The terminal carries eighteen real tickers with live prices and a month of candles behind each one. Pick what you are paying with, buy, sell, and cash out when the number looks right.
Every job pays in that company's own scrip and then closes for three minutes on its own clock, so while one bench cools down the other two are still open.
Every headquarters is built in its own colours and its own shape. NVIDIA runs a clean room with glass bays and racks along the walls. Tesla keeps a body line straight across the hall. Apple is a showroom of tables and couches, Microsoft a farm of cubicles, Coinbase a trading pit around a central island, AMD a lab of test benches.
Work stations are marked by a gold arrow, so you never have to hunt for the job. Staff walk the floors, and outside the traffic keeps moving.
